Our Mission
Finding Your Voice is a patient advocacy service that helps patients and those who care for them to navigate the challenges of the healthcare system. With 35 years of nursing expertise in a variety of specialties and settings, our founder guides individuals through complex healthcare systems, ensuring they receive the care and support they need. We are committed to empowering patients and ensuring their voices are heard when making their healthcare decisions.
Our Vision
Finding Your Voice aims to empower patients to achieve their best health outcomes through active listening, goal setting, care planning, education and health advocacy. Our goal is to help patients get "unstuck" and disentangled from the complexities of interacting with the healthcare system.
Our Founder
Lisa O'Neill, MPH, BSN, RN is a registered nurse with a masters degree in public health and a full career of experience in healthcare, in many settings and specialties. She can guide you through your struggles to get the care you need and learn what you need to know to take the best care of yourself or your loved one.
Lisa is an active listener with strong critical thinking skills who is a problem solver and passionate patient advocate. Lisa's background includes oncology, dialysis, orthopedics and telemetry nursing, along with 20 years of nursing leadership in hospital, outpatient and community settings. She is poised to assist you to find your voice so you can advocate for your own healthcare needs.
